Haverford High School's Class of 1960 held its 50th reunion October 8-10, 2010 at the Clarion Hotel Park Ridge (same location as the 45th reunion but renamed by a different owner) with reunion events that occurred from Friday afternoon through Sunday morning.

A hospitality suite for reunion attendees was used as a meeting place and to conduct some events. The suite was outfitted with a "retro" 50's and 60's memorabilia display including a large number of photos of classmates going all the way back to grade school.
Major events for the 50th reunion included;
- Friday afternoon golf outing at a local course
- Friday evening welcome reception
- Saturday bus tour of schools
- Saturday evening main event
- Sunday morning breakfast

The golf outing, arranged by Steve Coppola, was held at the Hickory Valley Golf Club for players of any skill level. Below are some photos of golfers that enjoyed the reunion outing. Friday Evening October 8 Welcome Reception The welcome reception was held to renew old acquaintances and re-tell/enhance old stories at the beginning of the reunion. Approximately 80 classmates and their significant others attended the reception. Some photos of this event appear below.

Saturday Mid-Day October 9 - School Bus Tour
A bus tour of the high school and elementary schools was donated and arranged by Rita Marcello for the 50th reunion. A yellow school bus was jammed full of classmates that wanted to go on the tour. Since most of us have grown a bit in several dimensions since leaving HHS, this made for a tight fit all around. Several of the elementary schools have been knocked down, re-built, and/or re-purposed since we left them, but we were able to visit the original locations. Photos of our classmates at the location of their grade schools are shown below.

Saturday Evening October 9 - Main Event Our main event for the 50th reunion began with hors d'oeuvres, a cash bar and a professional photographer after which we moved into the ballroom for the sit-down dinner. After dessert there were speeches by Andrea Levens Bell Paul for the reunion organizing committee and Hayler Osborn, our class president, followed by music provided by Kenny DeCray, mingling, chatting, and dancing Some photos from the main event are shown below..

Sunday Morning October 10 - Breakfast
Our reunion activities concluded with a breakfast buffet on Sunday morning starting at 7:00AM. As we ran into the lunch hours several classmates could still be seen in the buffet room reminiscing about the 50th reunion and exchanging contact info for the future.
